Marathas Barrow Weatherhead Lent LLC. is a Boston-based law firm that focuses on a wide range of employee compensation and human resource issues. The first step in creating the stationery system shown here was to design a new logo and color system for the firm. (The original logo was designed when the firm was called “Marathas, Barrow, & Weatherhead LLC.” and included an “&” in the logo. This was dropped when the new partner was added. The original design anticipated the future move and easily incorporated the change.) The logo was designed to reflect the partner’s modern, yet traditional approach to law. It has simple, clean lines and colors that evoke confidence and stability. The logo used in this stationery system is also used on the firm’s website (which I also designed) and other marketing collateral.
