Albert Whitman Fall Catalog

Albert Whitman & Company is a Park Ridge, Illinois-based operation that has been publishing award-winning children’s books since 1919. For the 50-page catalog project shown here, I was required to follow the company’s standard template as much as possible. However, I was also required to use independent judgment to design certain elements and sections that did not follow the template. This project also required Indexing of the catalog as a requested feature.

Layout and production work done for a children's book publisher. I had to follow the template, but was able to arrange pages, images and text to accommodate the needs of each section.

This is a sample of the new picture books section. The need to display not only the book cover, but also an interior spread or a second book in a series.

This displays the teen section layout with a different head banner.

This layout shows the seasonal favorites along with some of the book covers.

This layout lists the Boxcar Children's series along with some special edition material.

This 50 page catalog was also indexed.
