Clearbrook Invitations

Clearbrook is a non-profit organization providing opportunities, services and support to people with various disabilities. For several years, I have donated my professional services to create invitations and other marketing materials used to promote the group’s annual fundraising event. Each year, I was given a theme for the event which I used to create the visual representation of each theme. This pro bono work is always fund and supports a good cause.

ABOVE, the focus for this event was to showcase signature dishes being served by some of Chicago’s top restaurants. For this invitation cover I used elements from the Chicago skyline and the stylized fork/knife to capture the spirit and identity of the event.

ABOVE, “American Bistro” was the theme for this event. I illustrated the table and chairs in a bistro-fashion and added the awning for a fun and whimsical feel. Finding and using Lavanderia typeface helped pull the visual together.

ABOVE Celebrating Spain and "Something Different" was the theme for this invitation. I illustrated the dancer and guitar player and paired the artwork with Folkard & Lucida Handwriting fonts to create an original look for this cover.
